Sister in Christ
You know how amazingly intricate God’s plans are? How He weaves situations and people together at just the right time for His glory and our good?
Well, one of the first mums who said hello to me at school the other day met me again this morning. As we got chatting, I sensed that beautiful ‘family resemblance’ that I get when I am talking to another Christian. It wasn’t long before we found out that we do indeed share Jesus in common. YAY!!! Not only that, but our children are in the same class and had taken a real shine to each other from the off! (And again I say, YAY!!!)
This lady and I know nothing about one another, except that we both belong to the King of Kings – and therefore not much else matters. As we stood together outside the school gate, praising God for His provision, my eyes were wet with tears. What a treasure that God allowed me to find another one of His daughters so soon. As I hugged her and held her hand, I had that lovely sense that I had met a kindred soul. Right here was yet another of my Father’s blessings.
The jigsaw God has designed for our move continues to blow my mind. I am truly in awe of Him today. He cares about my children. He cares about my house. He cares about me. Whatever circumstances are throwing at you today, know this: the God of tiny detail is working right now on your behalf for your good. All things, not some, work together for those that love Him.
Hold on tight to that covenant in Him today.
