I blogged the other day about how people show us what God is like.
I am a people watcher. On my way into Sale today I walked past bikers, crazy-haired students, balding men, tiny children, those of Asian, Eastern and African origin… The sheer generosity of God was obvious in the decadent use of colour and form alone! I love living in such a cosmopolitan place. Heaven will be the same, of course.

What do those you know tell you about your Father?
At the risk of embarrassing them, here is my challenge to you today:
Tell them. Tell them what you see in them that is preciously, purposefully, perfectly, purely proof of a living and active God.

I believe that it is very much God’s deliberate plan to provide us with those who teach us of Him just by being who they are. Maybe you could take a second today to text someone or email them, just to say what you appreciate in them.

“My friends are my estate. Forgive me then the avarice to hoard them. They tell me those who were poor early have different views of gold. I don’t know how that is. God is not so wary as we, else He would give us no friends, lest we forget Him.”
