Donald Trump is a well-known American tycoon. His wealth has made him legendary across the world. His youngest son Barron (aged 4) has his own floor in their huge New York penthouse. He is renowned for his excesses, his ruthlessness in business and his attention to detail.

Donald Trump’s Father was called Fred. He too was a wealthy businessman who made his fortune in real estate. Incidentally, his middle name was ‘Christ’. Now that’s a name to live up to!

Mr Trump employs a large staff, one of whom is a doorman. This employee’s entire life is spent waiting to open the door for his master. Even if Donald is away, this man waits by the door, just in case his master returns.

In many ways this is what we are called to do by our Father. We usher Him in with our worship and open the door for Him to enter. He could arrive at any time. Our job is to be ready.
