Last night I dreamt that God gave me an emerald ring. The ring was so large that I was able to wear it as a bracelet. It had a single huge emerald in the centre (as a ring would.)
I woke up remembering this beautiful dream and asked God what it meant.

I felt so comforted by the fact that something so wonderful was entrusted to me”¦ and so special that something I could never afford was given freely to me.
I looked up on the internet what the emerald can mean. I found the following gems (excuse the pun)
Apparently it has long been the symbol of hope. It is considered by many to be the stone of prophecy. For some, the emerald acts as a tranquilizer for a troubled mind. The emerald is said to bring the wearer reason and wisdom.
In several cultures the emerald was the symbol for fertilizing rain. In the Christian faith it is the symbol of faith and hope.
An emerald of the right shade of green can be more valuable than a diamond.
Emeralds are sometimes used by faith healers in some cultures to help heal the heart.
Some ancient peoples thought the emerald would heal any disease of the eye. The emerald would be placed in a container of water overnight and the water would be poured on the eyes the next day.
Emerald is a stone of great harmony, wisdom and love. The Emerald can be a bridge between 2 people. The Emerald was thought to vibrate with love.
Of course, I don’t believe that a stone can heal anyone. But I do believe in a ROCK that can.

So as I remember my dream I am aware of the God who heals and I am expectant that He is at work in all things in my life, to do me, and my family, much good.
